Founder and sculptor-designer-fabricator Ken Hepburn brings a lifetime of passion for design and construction. Having worked with big firms like Gensler and Skanska to boutique studios, on projects ranging from high-end residential to commercial retail to civil infrastructure, Ken brings decades of innovation and problem-solving experience to an industry ready for a creative refresh.

PresidentWith a background in modern residential work and a strong understanding of how materials shape the character of a property, Ken guides the design direction behind each system at Boss. He specializes in bringing together small teams to build big things.
Curtis Pattee
Director, TechnologyWith a Master’s degree in Architecture, Curtis focuses on the intersection of traditional fabrication and modern technology. He specializes in computational design, using advanced 3D modeling techniques to bring a high level of intentionality to every laser-cut steel project. His background in the fine arts informs his eye for proportion, while his love for creative problem-solving ensures that each architectural element is as functional as it is refined.
